Classroom Reflection # 3

On February 5th, my 5th graders went on a field trip to see a play. I would have loved to have gone with them; however I was unable to miss a particular class at school. That did not stop me from observing though. I had the opportunity to visit a 2nd grade classroom instead of my usual 5th graders. It was good for me to see a different teaching style, classroom layout, and a different classroom management. There are aspects from both teachers which I enjoy and would like to incorporate in my classroom. It was very interesting to see how different and how similar classroom management was. I enjoyed observing the 2nd grade classroom, but I think I think that for the future I would rather stay in upper elementary.
