Classroom Reflection # 1

On my first day observing in my 5th grade classroom, we went to the school's computer lab. I noticed that the students were complaining at how slow the school's computers were compared to their computers at home. The computers were very slow, some more than others. I would have been frustrated trying to do research or homework and not being able to get very far since it took such a long time with the computers. I know that computers are expensive, and for the school to buy new ones is not in their budget right now. It would be great to see newer computers in their computer lab though. The students would be able to get more of their homework/research done and be able to enjoy some of the great tools that the internet can provide for them.
